Meet the owner- AKA Me

Hi, I’m Lauren—and I’ve been putting flowers in my hair since I had enough hair to hold them.

I grew up in the wild and whimsical town of Wimberley, Texas, where barefoot days and flower fields were the norm, and bug spray was basically a perfume (the less said about DEET, the better). Somewhere between picking wildflowers, super-gluing my flippers together to become a mermaid (age 6—strong vision, questionable methods), and realizing I was allergic to just about everything at the drugstore, a dream started to grow.

That dream? Blossom & Bloom—my little botanical wonderland full of handmade sprays, balms, lotions, and floral magic.

You see, I’ve always had sensitive skin. Like… “breaks out if you look at it funny” kind of sensitive. So I started crafting natural alternatives—bug sprays that don’t smell like citronella candles exploded on you, after-sun butters that whisper “shhh, I got you” to your sunburn, and essential oil blends that soothe more than just the skin.

But this all truly bloomed during life’s messier moments—therapy sessions, heartbreaks, transitions—when I’d drive straight to the flower shop, skip the pre-made bouquets, and build my own. Designing beauty with my own hands became my peace, my ritual, my reclaiming of joy.

Along the way, I lived in Germany and Austria (Cologne has my heart), became fluent in German, started an event planning company in 2013, and eventually turned my lifelong love of floral design into something bigger.

Now, I’m a professional mermaid (yes, really), a flower arranger, a natural product maker, and a full-time dream chaser. Whether I’m designing a bouquet, bottling a bug spray, or sketching up a sticker, it all comes from the same place: a deep love of nature, beauty, and making everyday things feel a little more magical.
